Any New York municipality, school district, or public entity can participate in the MEGA program. As a member, you benefit from our New York energy market expertise and direct access to energy advisors. In addition, we help connect members with opportunities created by policy, incentive, and market dynamics, so you can make informed decisions about your energy costs.

Request a No-Obligation Pricing Proposal

Any New York municipality, school district, business, or public entity can participate in the MEGA program. We serve a wide range of entities, from the largest counties to the smallest local libraries. If your organization manages a building or pays utility bills, you are eligible to participate in the MEGA program.

Submitting the Participation Authorization form does not obligate you to contract for electricity or natural gas through MEGA. Instead, it will simply generate a pricing proposal for you to consider. If you accept the pricing proposal, you will enter into a contract with MEGA’s designated energy service company (ESCO) for electricity and/or natural gas for a term of your choosing—typically two years, though shorter or longer options are available.

Getting a quote from MEGA is straightforward. Reading an electric bill in New York State, however, is anything but. With supply costs constantly changing, MEGA ensures your electricity and gas contracts are built around vetted, customized pricing that protects your budget.

Please note that you will need to upload the last 2 months of your electric or gas bills.
