MEGA is pleased to welcome Kenji Salinas as our new Energy Specialist. Kenji recently graduated from Binghamton University, where he double-majored in economics and environmental studies. During his time there, he completed several community-focused internships where he worked on outreach, education, and program coordination related to energy and sustainability. As an Energy Specialist, he will apply that experience in service of local governments and school districts across the state.
In support of MEGA’s mission to secure competitive energy rates and serve as a trusted energy expert for local governments, Kenji will focus on strengthening MEGA’s outreach and communication efforts. His work will help municipalities better understand what MEGA does and how it can support them in meeting their energy goals and needs.
Kenji is excited to bring his passion for public service to a team dedicated to making the energy procurement process easier and more effective for local governments across New York. We are confident that his skills, perspective, and enthusiasm will be a strong asset to MEGA and its members.
